Augusta Run Club will be hosting the third annual Savannah River Marathon.
The event will be on
October 19, 2024, and will include full marathon (7:30 a.m. start), half marathon (7:45 a.m. start) and 10K distances (8:00 a.m. start). Participation will be capped 225 runners total for all three distances. Please note registration for all events will end at 7 p.m. on October 18th or when we hit our maximun of 225 runners, whichever comes first. Registrants that sign up by October 5th will be guaranteed a t-shirt.
All three events will start and end at the Sharon Jones Amphitheater in North Augusta, SC. The full marathon route will run along the River Levy Trail, the North Augusta Greeneway, and the Canal Trail. The half marathon and 10k will be out and back courses on the Canal and River Levy trails. The Crowne Plaza is adjacent to the start/finish line, and will be an extremely convenient place to stay for anyone coming in from out of town. This is a bare bones type of event. There will be chip timing, and water stations every 2-3 miles. Please plan on carrying additional hydration and nutrition as needed. The trails and sidewalks will be fully open to other runners, walkers, cyclists, etc. Time limit for both events is 7 hours. There are no refunds for this event!

Packet pickup will be at Savannah River Brewing Company 813 5th Street, Augusta, Georgia on October 18, 2024 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Awards will be given to the top 2 finishers (male and female) in the following categories:
